Hm, you know. I was searching on the internet and I completely missed the fact that I was actually looking at American sites. Although some products come from the same company, its location (if it’s in Canada or in the U.S) plays a big role. So my search continues. lol.
I called some companies today and they honestly had no idea. They couldn’t answer ANY of my questions.
It ticks me off.lol. They should definitely know! But they said they’ll try to find out as soon as possible and all that jazz. But they won’t call back. They never do. LOL
Insha’Allah all is for the best.

As for those cheesy chips, if it’s labelled ‘cheddar cheese’ then it won’t hurt to double check by calling them. I doubt they’ll have an answer for you but at least you’re trying aye. The more calls they get the more they’ll want to answer iA lol. And the thing is, most of the time cheddar cheese contains rennet.

"Rennet is a natural complex of enzymes produced in any mammalian stomach to digest the mother's milk. Rennet contains a proteolytic enzyme (protease) that coagulates the milk, causing it to separate into solids (curds) and liquid (whey). The active enzyme in rennet is called rennin or chymosin (EC 3.4.23.4) but there are also other important enzymes in it, e. g., pepsin or lipase. There are non-animal sources for rennet substitutes."
Wikpedia

And “whey” is another questionable ingredient.
Anywho, I obviously didn’t answer your question.
My apologies

ya I know about rennet, my told me it's in dairy products, I avoid them but I thought cheddar cheese powder was different, ya i never call becuase they never have answers, although once I phoned for skittles and they said they use cow products, but other people told me they phoned and they said there was pig in them, so i don't know anymore, I read your blog about you being paranoid with halal food, it's good that way, everyone has their beleifs and Allah knows best...I just say try your best in finding out and leave the doubtful stuff, so I guess I'll lay off these chips and skittles...great! Jazaky Allah anyway :)
